Our caring and devoted Operation Manager Dip Jyoti Karki (Deep) will ensure you have an amazing experience with us at Everest Cuisine. Deep was born and raised in Nepal and started his hospitality career working for various restaurants in Singapore while he pursued his hospitality degree at the Columbia Business School there.

After his graduation, Deep joined Villa Bali Pvt. Ltd, one of the reputed resorts, bars, and Restaurants in Singapore. His promotions in 3 years were threefold; he moved from being a Supervisor to Assistant Manager and subsequently Restaurant Manager. Deep now works for Texas Road House, Dubai. Texas Road House is a steakhouse that commemorates the Western theme.

His job at Texas Road House was soon followed by the offer from Lake Lanier Island in Atlanta, USA. He stayed there for 18 months before moving to California. Deep is now the Manager of Everest Cuisine besides being its co-owner.

Deep brings tremendous experience to Everest Cuisine. He has all of the responsibilities of restaurant management, restaurant marketing strategy, recruiting and hiring of the restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, developing the menu, and much more.

According to Dip Jyoti, operations are the backbone of any restaurant’s success. It involves hiring and training of staff, with high standards of service, monitoring, and compliance with health and safety aspects. He also handles vendor relationships, inventory management, or resolving issues either with the supplier or contractors. With Dip Jyoti at the helm of affairs, Everest Cuisine has run its operations smoothly and transports customer memory in every dining session.

As popular as Deep was at Everest Cuisine, so was he as a runner and maintainer of the operation. The more creative his strategy would have been in upgrading the quality of food, ambiance, and service, so much more he would have enhanced the experience that dining would be. It was Deep who trained new staff on authentic Nepalese cuisine and service standards before placing them on duty at operational venues.

Dip Jyoti tries to provide very warm and hospitable service. His goal is loyalty as every guest who eats here is customized. Things that he does to infuse the soft skills of staff along with learning different cuisines and styles of service. Systems always evolve, and processes get streamlined to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and overall efficiency.

Outside work, Deep enjoys traveling to new cultures, learning how to cook diverse cuisines, gardening, and volunteering for local charities. He also hosts dinner parties where his friends can share conversations over home-cooked Nepalese meals. Deep also enjoys reading motivational and self-help books to gain new perspectives on life and business. He balances stress, clarity of thoughts, and gratitude through physical activities of yoga and meditation.
